The hospital is beautiful from what I have seen (I was there in an emergency and everything was a blur) and the staff and doctors are great. There was an especially amazing anesthesiologist who made my recovery from a c-section so much better with a TAP block, but regrettably I do not remember his name. The nurses were caring and the doctors handled my problem magnificently. Sadly, I have been very disappointed with communication with Eisenhower, hence three stars. In July they rolled out patient privacy codes, and one of my children and my husband were sent letters with them, but myself and my other child were not. I have been unable to communicate with the billing department because I did not have a privacy code and they will not accept any other information about me to confirm my identity, which is ridiculous. I emailed and called HIM regarding privacy codes and several errors in the chart (such as the spelling of my husband's name) on three different dates, starting almost two months ago, and did not receive a call back or email regarding my concerns. I left a message with Patient Relations once and did not get a call back. I was finally able to speak to someone in Patient Relations who had someone from HIM call me to give me the necessary code, but I am very disappointed it took almost two months and multiple calls and emails on my part to get a privacy code so I could discuss financial matters with the billing department.

My mom stayed here, everyone is very nice, caring and helpful. You can stay with your family member all day and night. I highly recommend going to this hospital. Stay away from JFK, a whole different story.

Angel the travel nurse is absolutely ? Amazing caring and awesome with our mothers care well in Hospital. He was also the same with the pt next to my mother. As for Jesse burgundy hair she needs a language of Caring classes. How do you start a shift rude and cranky Your in the wrong job.

My experience was very far from negative. I was admitted Immediately in the ER With what was fortunately a small stroke. The care I received was first rate, The concern level was very high. Compassionate expertise.
Is what I felt During those two days in the hospital. I do not understand what those negative reviews are about From my experience. I would return in a literal heartbeat.

Eisenhower used to be great. No longer…they’ve taken on patients at Kaiser so that even people like myself with blue cross ppo get short shrift with lack of availability and appointments and lack of doctor follow through. Their ombudsman doesn’t return calls (they’re probably overworked and overwhelmed now). Don’t be fooled, this facility (ER, urgent care, and individual doctors) is not what it once was, unless you think that nice lighting and super duper fixtures does it for you…that they have! Pretty campuses, but lousy medical care…good luck to all seeking treatment there nowadays…you’re going to need it…

I went in for a hip replacement in April of this year. Prior to my surgery I made several calls to the hospital trying to get information regarding my shared cost for the procedure. After about 4 calls I was told by someone in the billing department there would be a 20 percent charge if any at all, but he could not or would not tell me what that number would be. When I was called to be admitted I was then told that my insurance was paying 100 percent. now almost 2 months after the surgery I get a bill from Eisenhower and they tell me that is my shared of cost. I asked about being told that my insurance was paying 100 percent and nobody wants to hear that. If I was given the total out of pocket prior to surgery I would not have had it done due to the cost. How do medical "professionals " get away with this? Why are they not required to inform people what the out of pocket cost will be prior to any surgery, mechanics sure have give an estimate before working on a car.

Eisenhower has gone downhill. Their billing department is a running joke and they can’t do their job. They scan your insurance card and still can’t bill your insurance or they bill incorrectly. I called and spoke with a male and they had the wrong number don’t ask me how because I’ve been there many years with the same insurance. Now they sent me to a collection and come to find out they have been paid by my insurance. This place clearly have individuals that lack brain cells. They refuse to help. Their collections company they sent me to is saying they will help fix this. If they don’t I will be contacting a lawyer. I have also notified all three credit agencies about this fraud. Let’s see if it gets resolved.

Leaving an updated review after they responded with a automated response instead of trying to call me back. Been trying to get a hold of anyone with some brain cells that can handle these issues. These people were paid by my insurance and refuse to research the matter. I've already spoken to my insurance and they gave me all the info unsure why a billing dept cant do it. Im over Eisenhower and will be transferring all my doctors out of here, This place is worse than JFK or Desert Regional. Stay far away from this place.

Ever since Eisenhower became a pseudo-Kaiser facility it has gone downhill very rapidly. The Emergency Department is the laughingstock stock of Riverside County.

Here are two personal experiences:
1. They actually sent my wife home after being in their ludicrous 0bservation Ward, two days with a raging case of pneumonia.
2, in another occasion, they discharged her with C-diff without even diagnosing it.

The health services in this Valley is an embarrassment to the medical profession.
