I collaborated with Brian Staight in the Millworks Department for a door installation project (Project #811057708). Lowe's sent a representative to my home to measure and select the appropriate door for the entryway from my patio to the garage. The total cost of the project was just over $2,000, which included the removal of the old door and the installation of a new pre-hung door.

Approximately three months after the installation, I noticed significant deterioration at the bottom of the door. However, Lowe's is now refusing to replace it, stating that the damage is not covered under the warranty.

Delivery scheduling was a nightmare! Saw the display item on the sales floor of the Allen & Roth Maitland sectional & table set and ordered two sets from the patio department. Sales team, especially Inyet, were absolutely wonderful. What went wrong was the delivery date (purchased 4/12 and delivery was set for 5/13). We don’t live full time in Palm Desert so we planned our trip based on the delivery date. We were lied to by another associate the day before the expected delivery, we went to store in person just to double check the delivery status. Were told their “installers” weren’t available on 5/12, that they would be there on 5/13, they would be there on 5/14 and get it on the truck on 5/15 for delivery- meaning 1 day later after we would leave for going back to San Diego. By 9am on 5/15, Lowes called to say the furniture wasn’t even yet available to deliver!! And they could not tell us WHEN it would be! We immediately asked for a refund ($6K) We hope they pulled the display pieces off the floor because they are selling items that aren’t available and will never be able to deliver! Shame on the Delivery/logistics department for the utter inconvenience of it all. First picture is what we ordered - second and third pictures are how we spent our 4 day vacation at our home with no patio furniture.

This is GARBAGE. No cashiers! We are forced fetished to use self checkout ( with 2 of the 4 terminals out of order )

So we’re doing the cashiers job. Will you give us a 10% discount for doing so?

Dropped this stuff and left. Will buy online. It will be cheaper.

Horrible service. Spent 35 minutes with 3 employees who were friendly but incompetent. Asked to see the manager who pretended to be busy or overwhelmed. Ace Hardware or Home Depot is the solution for your home improvement needs. Lowe's has lost their focus and I will never return. Take my advice and don't waste your valuable time .

Yesterday I went to buy something for home improvement at this Lowe's in Palm Desert. It happen that as I was browsing thru the store, I bought a clay plant pot medium size color black. Obviously this item due to its color, the chipped flaw was more visible. I spoke to this manager at the store who lacked customer skills and to which I'm not sure if at least she finished high school in the United States. This hispanic manager was very rude and impolite. When I was asking if she could give me a discount for the item as it was broken, she responded with "this is not the swapmeet to bargain." All I can give you is a 10% discount. Her statement "this is not the swapmeet to bargain" was totally unnecessary, as I was very well aware, I was at Lowe's, not a general mercantile store, but I don't know about her. This lady needs to learn some grammatical English, not to racially profile customers, and not to humiliate clients in front of employees and other customers. God bless!

Dear Mr. Ellison, my apologies for contacting you but I feel it is a necessity. On 01/10/24 we purchased a Smith Signature 100 50 gallon water heater at your Palm Desert, CA store. We scheduled our installer for 01/28/24. After opening the box the Installer said this is not a new WH. It was a Smith pro-max Dated 2006. We packed up everything and went back to the Palm Desert, CA store. We were not greeted nicely nor did we feel welcome. We had to explain to a few people. The manager basically accused us switch saying he had video of us leaving with a sealed box. I argued with him and asked how? He saw a white sticker which is attached and put in the number and stated that we purchased it in La Quinta but he was puzzled why our receipt was Palm Desert. The one we bought was purchased in la Quinta yet showed up to be sold again in Palm Desert. He told us he contacted the fraud department. We asked to see the video of us and the other purchase, he refused and said we could not. I said you can accuse us and now when it possibly concerns one of your employees taking a old tank and putting it out as new. The bottom of the box had been sealed back with a glue gun. He refused any other help told us to take the 2006 tank and leave. He said the Fraud department will call you tomorrow(01/29/24).
No one has called. Rather than pay our installer again, we went to Home Depot and bought another water heater. I have pictures of our old and the 2006 water heater we bought from Lowes. Can’t believe we were treated badly by your mistake and then when it turns out there may be fraud on an employee of yours part, yet there is no apology. The credit card company said they will ask for all the records and videos. We have been Lowes customers for over 20 years now, never treated so badly. This will also reflect on the Yelp review, the NALC web and Facebook pages. Thank you for your time. Charles Bonner --- --- ----

This home improvement store is always clean. The staff is great and this location is convenient. However the best location is in La Quinta and Palm Springs. The merchandise is more modern and the selection is much greater. The personnel at the Palm Desert store are very nice and helpful.

Typical big box experience. They had what I went for and I found a person to check me out did not have to use self checkout. Store always is clean.
